Alpine Image Company is a wedding photography studio based in Wanaka, New Zealand. We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated person to join our small team of photographers. – Photographer & Editor
– Part time/full time depending on wedding bookings (this changes seasonally)
– Salary – POA (based on a per wedding basis)
The successful applicant will be joining the team as a photographer. We are looking for someone who is creative, with fantastic people skills, and who is able to produce an excellent level of photography work. They need to be reliable, and work well under pressure.
The work ranges from short helicopter-elopements, to larger 12 hour wedding days, and so the role will be varied hours with the need to be able to work certain weekends. Our busiest period runs from September/November through to April, and this would be when the vast majority of the work would be.
This role is based at our studio in Wanaka, and on location around Otago (mainly Wanaka and Queenstown). You will report to our company directors.
We will be giving some training with this role, but someone with an existing level of experience with photography and a love for people and weddings is what we are looking for!
Shooting weddings ranging from small elopements to full day events
Editing and Post-production using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
Photography experience & a varied portfolio
Excellent people skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
NZ Residency or to be able to legally work in NZ for at least 12 months
Flexible to work evenings/weekends if necessary
Reside in the Wanaka area (although for the right applicant we would also consider Queenstown)
A full NZ driving licence and reliable vehicle for their own transport
