Before ‘lock-down’ or ‘self-isolation’ was a thing, and ‘ISO’ was a word only familiar to photographers…. Daina & Sam tied the knot right here in our New Zealand backyard!
It was a time when we gave hugs freely and didn’t worry about standing too close. Whilst we knew about ‘Coronavirus’, it really was right at the back of our minds. Then, oh how the world has changed in 7 short weeks.
And this, this is where wedding photography is so powerful. It takes you back to the best of times; the hugs, the laughter, the excitement, the tears and the nerves. There really is no other day quite like it, and we are so lucky to see time and time again, so many couples celebrating love in their own unique and beautiful ways.
We never know what is around the corner, but Daina and Sam relished every single moment they had with their loved ones. It was an honour to be a part of creating these precious memories with them. We couldn’t have asked to spend the day with a kinder, more loving duo, and their warm, welcoming bridal squad. All that, on our very own doorstep. Love Wanaka!!!!
We hope that these remind you of the happiest of days, and how amazing ‘normal’ life can be, and will be again. To all of our couples who have been forced to postpone their big day… hang in there. You too will have your moment, and it will be incredible xxx
Huge thanks to…
