Yaeh & Henry

Oh my goodness I think this has to be the hardest blog post we have ever done. So many photos that we want to put up here it is almost impossible to edit them down when you are so close to the people in them!!! So apologies for this probably being our biggest post to date… and for all of the adjectives below… not good English but we’re so excited to blog this it’s hard not to waffle!

Most of you will have either emailed, or chatted to our incredible studio manager extraordinaire Yaeh. She puts so much thought and energy into all of the weddings here at Alpine Image Company, that she truly deserved something very beautiful and special for her own.

Yaeh & Henry spent hours (and hours!!) bringing their wedding together, and the help that they received from close family & friends in the lead up to the big day was nothing short of incredible. It’s clear that these are two very loved and valued people!

Everything had been handmade/baked/restored/glittered/painted and folded, so that each element was a true reflection of them. Although Yaeh is as Kiwi as can be, they wanted to cherish and acknowledge the beautiful culture she is from, so about a year before the wedding they started folding 1000 cranes. This is an ancient Japanese legend called Senbanzuru, promising anyone who folds 1000 cranes one wish whether it be peace, health or luck.

We’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking… (yes that is Henry playing the guitar as she walks down the aisle… does it get any more romantic!) but just to say that Yaeh and her now hubby Henry, are hands down one of the most genuine, considerate, thoughtful and sweetest couples we know, and we are so very, very happy for them.

Wishing you guys all of the love in the world, always xxx
